AI has basically take over my life. this list has been years in the making. And now I’m revealing the best AI tools for digital marketing that you MUST be using in 2025. I’ve used so many of these tools in my business and with clients. And the results: AMAZING!
I’ve split them into different categories: AI for social media, copywriting, image generation, etc. You can cycle through the list below to reach your desired category of tools.
Note: this is a completely unsponsored list. I have no affiliation with any of these products.

Brainstorming AI Tools
As someone who runs a business, I always find it difficult to sit down and do some real brainstorming. This is true for anyone, whether you’re working in a Startup or a company with thousands of employees.
Here are some oof the best AI digital marketing tools for brainstorming that I use a lot.
ChatGPT
You’re going to be seeing this one often throughout the article. ChatGPT, for me, is still the GOAT AI app. It’s the Crème de la crème.
The new version (ChatGPT o) is especially good. It has better reasoning than past version. The way I do it is talk to the AI as if it were human. Go through, in depth, what it is you actually need.
Do you need a new digital marketing strategy? Start from the beginning. Ask ChatGPT to start with a customer profile. Explain your product in great detail. Talk about the successes you had as well as the failures. Anything you can think of.
The additional layers of information help ChatGPT establish a great foundation for your business. Then you can move on to your goals and so on. A great starting point when you’re trying to get un-stuck, as we all do at one point or another.
Harpa
This tool is awesome for those days you’re feeling especially lazy. If you don’t want to sit around and create your own prompts, Harpa’s got you covered.
It’s a Chrome extension and it appears on the right-hand side of the screen. There are a ton of pre-programmed prompts for you to use. You can even get summaries from the page you’re on.
You can even choose which AI you’d like to use to generate outputs. Whether it’s ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
IdeaMap
IdeaMap is actually pretty neat, especially if you’re a visual learner. Sure, you can basically use any AI to brainstorm. But the best output you get is some text and maybe a spreadsheet. While fine for some, it might not be for others.
IdeaMap takes your prompt (which you should make as detailed as possible) and creates a map. Thus the name… It then plans out the categories and necessary action steps you must take. For my map, I wanted to create a gameplan for my SEO business. Here was my prompt:
"I need help brainstorming proper goals for 2025 that I can follow, broken down quarterly. These are business goals as I am an SEO consultant looking for new work, clients and building my brand"
And as you can see from the visual, it gives you quite a comprehensive look at what you should be doing to achieve this goal. You can do this for any type of brainstorming: names for products, funny tag lines. Anything, really.
Hyperwrite
While it might not be as visually appealing as the prior tool, Hyperwrite still does a pretty good job of it. Brainstorming is just the tip of the iceberg for this site. It has a TON of other features to it.
I used the same prompt for this one as well. The output was certainly different. It gave me a timeline. it lists out the things I should be doing each quarter. It’s also got stats to back up what the AI is telling me. A fantastic and underrated feature.
Copywriting
Its awfully tough to replicate the huma touch, especially when it comes to writing. Especially marketing writing that involves the art of storytelling. But you CAN do it. You just gotta do it the right way.
Whether it’s ad copy, blogs, or social media, here are some of the best digital marketing AI tools for copywriting.
ChatGPT
Among many things, ChatGPT is great for writing. But as the old saying goes, you gotta know how to use it.
It’s all about optimizing your prompt. This took me years to perfect. But now, I have many prompts where the output from ChatGPT is as close to human writing as possible.
When it comes to writing blogs and social media posts, you need to feed the AI data. Data and information about how you write: the style, tone, structure, etc. I like to provide ChatGPT sample content. Some blogs and posts that I wrote myself. And ask for it to get close to this style.
Another hack is writing the intro paragraph(s). Write it how you normally would, or take an intro paragraph from a different source if writing isn’t your forte. This provides a great skeleton for ChatGPT. A reference, so to speak, on how to write in the style you want.
Mega SEO
Mega SEO is a pretty neat tool. Simply plug in your url and you’ll get some keyword suggestions. You can also input your own list of keywords if you have it.
You get a couple of articles for free so feel free to try it out. It spits out a pretty massive article. And upon checking, it does seem to sound quite robotic. As I’ll reiterate throughout this entire article, not a single AI writing tool has been able to over come AI content detection tools.
However, the text provides a great starting point. It’s quite lengthy, too. You could probably get like 3-4 different articles out of a single output. But it will take some editing skills.
Penfriend
This is a newer tool I recently discovered. Penfriend can bang out 6,000-word pieces in no time. SEO optimized; I might add. It’s great because it takes you through the entire blog writing process; choosing your title, your outline, target keywords, all of that.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t always pass AI content detection tools. And to be honest, not a single tool does so it’s not fair to single out just one AI writer. The great thing about Penfriend though is that it actually provides sources and hyperlinks.
Sometimes it’s off so you do have to go in and manually check those sources. This is great for SEO and the user experience of the blog.
Writesonic
This one’s sort of the “Swiss Army Knife” of AI writing—especially if you lean heavily on short-form marketing copy like ads, product descriptions, or catchy social posts. Picture ChatGPT, but dressed up in a more user-friendly interface (and a little less chatty). Writesonic will spit out headlines and taglines that actually feel fresh—like you’d swear a real human came up with them. That’s a huge plus if you’re juggling multiple campaigns and need variation without burning out your creative brain.
But it’s not just for quick hits. Writesonic can handle long-form content too, guiding you through an outline or even generating entire drafts if you’re in a pinch. Just remember, no AI tool is perfect. Double-check your facts, tweak the tone, and add your personal flair. Because at the end of the day, any good marketing piece still needs a bit of that human je ne sais quoi. Think of Writesonic as your hyper-speed starting point—and you still have the final say.
Byword AI
Every copywriting tool has their own, unique spin on things. Byword AI is no different. The way the article is written and the ability to adjust the text is what makes it one of the best ai tools for digital marketing.
Like most tools, you start by inputting a target SEO keyword and then Byword does the rest. The great thing about this tool is that it actually includes images throughout the piece. I know for myself, I spend a lot of time finding legal images and creating infographics so this I found to be a nice touch.
GPTZERO
Last and certainly not least. Probably the most important tool you need to use. GPTZero (and others) is a AI content detection tool. Simply plug in your text and it will indicate the likelihood the text was written by AI.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) AI Tools
SEO is changing in a big way. AI search like SearchGPT will have a big impact on SEO in 2025 and beyond. So we all need to be strategic about this.
Now, because many of the copywriting tools have a lot of overlap with SEO, I’m keeping this list short (for now). I will be constantly adding new tools throughout the year. So, this is what I deem one of the best AI tools for SEO digital marketing.
SEO.ai
This is one of the OG’s as I like to call them. It’s one of the first SEO AI tools I discovered in the early days of the AI boom. Most copywriting tools have some SEO features but not like this one.
SEO AI, in my opinion, is more heavily geared to SEO instead of the copywriting. You can see this in the way the platform prioritizes SEO keywords. It’s also great because you can do keyword research on the platform. You get estimated monthly volume and keyword difficulty.
The output is great too. Solid SEO foundation (keyword density, H tags, structure). But like with many tools, the job is not complete in one click. You have to go in and edit your content to make it more user friendly. But overall, a great tool that I’ve used a lot.
Best Social Media AI Tools
Now let’s move on to social media AI tools.
Hix AI
Hix AI is a pretty sweet and multi-functional tool. It’s got more than 100 different prompts and use cases. Basically, for anything you can think of.
Hix AI comes loaded with over 140 preprogrammed prompts—think everything from reworking your LinkedIn posts to rewriting Google Ad headlines. It even does a plagiarism check, which is a big win if you’re worried about repurposing content or you just want to be safe.
I like to call Hix AI my “AI Swiss Army Knife.” It’s not hyper-specialized in just one thing; instead, it’s got a little something for everyone. Want a new X (formerly Twitter) post? A paragraph rewriter? No sweat. The interface is straightforward, so you’re not overwhelmed by a billion bells and whistles. Just pick a prompt, feed it your text, and let Hix AI do the grunt work. It’s a neat little hub that keeps me from bouncing around multiple apps when I just need a quick fix.
Blaze AI
You’ve likely seen these guys’ quirky ads all over social media. And the tool itself, not too shabby.
If social media is your battleground and you’re forever stuck in content overload, you’ll want to give Blaze AI a spin. It’s an all-in-one platform for creating not just social posts, but also images, blogs—basically anything that might go viral or at least grab some eyeballs. You can brainstorm a post idea, generate the text, and even design a cool graphic without switching tabs every five seconds. For a multitasker (or borderline procrastinator) like me, that’s gold.
Adcreative ai
Ever look at an ad and think, “Why does this look so… meh?” The truth is, ad creatives can make or break your campaign, and not everyone has the knack for them. That’s where Adcreative ai shines. It’s specifically built to pump out ad visuals and copy that actually convert—like a mini ad agency tucked into your browser.
I like to give it a product image (or a stock photo if I’m testing a new concept), and Adcreative ai goes to town. It picks color schemes, writes headlines, and basically sets you up with multiple variations of ad creatives.
You can test them on Facebook, Instagram, wherever you’re running campaigns. It saves a ton of time because it’s not just giving you one option; you get multiple versions. Which is perfect, because you never really know what’ll click until you A/B test.
And trust me, you’ll want to do a quick sanity check to ensure everything aligns with your brand voice. But the heavy lifting? Done in minutes.
Hyperwrite AI
Hyperwrite AI is like ChatGPT’s little cousin that’s hyper-focused on short, punchy social content. I first tried it for Twitter (or X, if we’re being politically correct these days), and let me tell you, it nails those 280-character blasts better than I ever expected. There’s a certain wit it captures—like it’s half-human, half-comedian.
But don’t box it in. It works equally well for LinkedIn intros, Instagram captions, or any social platform where you need a spark of creativity. One thing I’ve noticed is that it’s really good at weaving in hashtags and keywords without making them look forced.
That’s gold if you’re trying to grow your reach. Still, be sure to read over the final copy—sometimes the AI can overshoot with the snark factor.
Best AI Image Generators for Digital Marketing
MidJourney
MidJourney is kind of the superstar of AI art these days. If you’ve been on social media, you’ve probably scrolled past those dreamy, otherworldly illustrations with that telltale MidJourney look. It’s all done through Discord, which can feel a little quirky at first. But once you’re in, you’re in—churning out gorgeous, high-resolution images from the wildest text prompts you can dream up. Perfect for when you need jaw-dropping visuals and don’t have the budget (or time) to hire an entire art team.
Dall-E
OpenAI’s Dall-E is the OG in the AI image game—or at least the one that kicked off half the buzz you see out there. You toss it a prompt like “pizza box spaceship,” and it spits out something that’ll make you do a double-take.
The best part is it’s pretty user-friendly, so you’re not stuck fiddling with complicated interfaces. The catch? OpenAI does have content rules that might be frustratinng if you’re shooting for edgy or controversial subject matter. But for everyday creative tasks, Dall-E is your best friend.
Grok AI
Elon’s doing it all these days, especially in the AI space. Grok AI is a solid pick if you’re not looking to produce some groundbreaking digital masterpiece but just need snappy, on-brand images—or a quick fix for social media posts.
It’s a bit more under-the-radar than MidJourney or Dall-E, which can be a plus if you don’t want to sift through a flooded community. The interface is straightforward, letting you focus on the creative aspect rather than getting bogged down in settings. Think of it as the fuss-free solution for images that look polished without the overhead of advanced artistry.
Krea.ai
I love Krea! It is basically a sandbox for image generation where the usual guardrails are loosened up. It offers live image creation, so you can watch your masterpiece evolve in real time—kind of mesmerizing, if you ask me. And guess what? There are no major restrictions holding you back.
You can even enhance images or dabble with short video outputs. Best of all, there’s a free tier to poke around with before you commit, and a paid version if you want to unlock more features. If you’re into creative freedom and don’t feel like jumping through content policy hoops, Krea might be your playground.
Venice Ai
Venice Ai doesn’t mince words: it lets you create just about any image you can dream up, including political figures like Donald Trump or Elon Musk, without giving you the side-eye.
Some generators lay down a bunch of “nope, can’t do that” prompts, but Venice Ai? Not so much. If you need a tool for boundary-pushing, meme-worthy or satirical creations—especially those involving well-known personalities—this might be the perfect fit.
Just remember, free rein also comes with extra responsibility. You don’t want to unleash something you’ll regret later. Then again, sometimes you do. No judgment here.
